Turtle Bay, Roatan — quiet, Caribbean, and perfectly positioned for fishing.
After a full day on the water, where you rest matters. Our private beach house accommodation on Roatan's quiet northwest shore is designed with anglers in mind — convenient to the best flats, far from the cruise ship crowds, and positioned to give you the island experience rather than just a hotel room.
The accommodation is located in Turtle Bay, a secluded cove on the leeward northwest side of the island. This is the quiet Roatan — no cruise ship buses, no souvenir hawkers, just mangroves, hummingbirds, and the sound of the Caribbean. The complex sits directly on the water with a private dock extending over the bay, where you can sip a coffee in the morning while watching the light change across the reef.
We're situated on Mangrove Bight, just three-quarters of a mile (a fifteen-minute walk or five-minute drive) from West End Village, which has excellent restaurants, beach bars, and dive shops.
The world's second largest barrier reef begins approximately 200 yards from the beach — a five-minute snorkel or kayak from the dock. The Coral Reef Alliance cites the Mesoamerican Reef (which includes the Bay Islands) as one of the most biodiverse reef systems in the world, home to over 500 species of fish and 65 species of coral.
Turtle Bay is located on the northwest leeward side of Roatan, roughly 15 minutes from Juan Manuel Gálvez International Airport. Access to the best flats fishing grounds is direct from the property by boat.
The beach house is exclusively available as part of our fishing packages — we do not offer the lodging separately. Package guests receive airport pickup and return transfers.
